We’re delighted to announce that we were successful at last night’s Effective Mobile Marketing Awards in London. Sharing the honour with our client, Domino’s Pizza, we took home the Most Effective Smartphone App award for the Domino’s UK and Republic of Ireland mobile apps. The award recognises the most effective smartphone app targeting consumers on any platform, and is judged for effectiveness in terms of download volumes and revenue generated.
The apps, which generate an average of £5 million in sales every week, have now been downloaded over 10 million times by satisfied customers. We’ve been working with Domino’s for the best part of a decade, helping the brand to establish market-leading digital, m-commerce, and e-commerce strategies.
Our latest updates to the apps launched last week, introducing one-touch ordering, an enhanced pizza tracker, and support for Apple Watch. Over 75% of orders are now taken through digital channels, with 51% of those coming through the mobile apps we develop.
It represents the second consecutive year that we’ve been successful at the ceremony; our in-house tool, Kirin, a large reason for the success of Domino’s, took home the 2014 award for Most Effective App or Site Building Platform.
