  • ANDROID DEVELOPER

    We are looking for Android developer to enrich their skills via and grow as part of a team in the heart of digital innovation.

    You will be responsible for implementing new features in any of our client apps, liaising with our UX team to bring app designs to life and working closely with QA staff to reproduce and fix bugs.

    You should be an excellent team member whilst also showing resourcefulness and the ability to work through challenging problems. It will be your responsibility to complete work of a high standard in a time sensitive environment.

    We’ll want to hear all about what issues you’ve faced in the apps you’ve built, and how you learnt from them.

    Responsibilities:

    • Discussing intended technical approaches for upcoming work with the team and involving the team in collaboration sessions
    • Actively participating in development meetings
    • Liaising with the technical lead to identify and work through problems
    • Following company user guides and documentation and updating as necessary
    • Improving processes and keeping up to date with Android and technology

    Ideal experience:

    • At least 2 years’ experience with Android/Java
    • A good understanding of software tools
    • Know your way around a Linux terminal (but advanced bash scripting skills are most welcome)
    • Implementing complex user interfaces and navigation flows
    • Have experienced the full app lifecycle, from initial implementation through to debugging the live apps in the field, ideally several times over
    • Experience with:
      • Git
      • Continuous Integration Systems (e.g. Jenkins, CruiseControl)
      • Project build tools (e.g. Maven, Gradle)
      • SQLite
      • Espresso
    • HTML, JavaScript and CSS knowledge
    • Knowledge of other programming languages will be beneficial
    • Excellent communication skills

  • Business Development Manager

    We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will focus on sales, marketing, and the acquisition of new clients, and who can consistently deliver the leads to support the growth of the business. It is a fantastic opportunity for somebody with a confidence in their ability and a desire to show what they can do. In exchange, we will help you to grow you through coaching, training and increasing levels of responsibility, as well as significant performance-based bonuses.

    We imagine you’ll have worked in a sales and marketing or business development environment for at least 3 years, and are looking to move to a place where you can have greater autonomy and an opportunity to grow both the business and your career. We want to find a candidate that is looking for a home; not just the next rung on the career ladder.

    The right candidate will be a self-starting, enthusiastic and highly articulate business development professional, and someone who can bring a genuine passion for marketing and sales.     • Detailed tracking and analysis on all sales and marketing activity undertaken
    • Consistent and effective execution of sales and marketing plan 

    Roles & responsibilities

    • Planning and running outbound campaigns
    • Developing a tactical plan to execute the sales and marketing strategy
    • Reporting the performance of activities against targets
    • Recommending ways to improve the effectiveness of sales & marketing activity 

    Experience

    • Working in fast-moving, high growth environments – a digital agency would be an advantage, but attitude and track record are far more important to us
    • Effectively undertaking outbound activities to generate leads, such as phone, email, LinkedIn, Facebook
    • Extensive use of LinkedIn as a lead generation channel
    • Using CRM tools to track, manage and report prospect contact activity
    • Creating weekly status reports on activity and performance against targets
    • Running regular reviews of effectiveness of sales and marketing activity, and recommending adjustments to plan to improve performance

    Salary

    Basic salary: £35k to £45k depending on experience.

    Bonus: A performance-based bonus of £10k will be payable for hitting specific sales targets, and a limitless bonus for exceeding targets. If you are truly amazing and deliver a large pipeline of well-qualified leads that convert into sales, you have the potential to earn six figures.

  • QA ENGINEER

    We are looking for someone to join our growing business as a QA Engineer to enrich their skills via and grow as part of a team in the heart of digital innovation.     You will have worked in software development or digital marketing for few years as part of a QA team. You will have skills in using test tools. Understanding of automation testing will be beneficial. Working alongside the mobile development team, you will be helping to reproduce and debug issues raised. You’ll have an opportunity to impact on important decisions around the quality of our products.

    We’re all about innovation in our work, so you will have the opportunity to learn on new platforms and tools as you go, expanding your experience and knowledge.

    You will be observant, have good attention to detail, and will be able to communicate with clarity and confidence when interacting with developers and project managers. You will be capable of comparing multiple sources of documentation in order to recognise discrepancies and issues.

    Responsibilities:

    • Writing test plans for products in early and late stages of development
    • Executing tests, both planned and exploratory
    • Performing regression tests for new and old products
    • Logging bugs that effectively communicate issues and their impact
    • Helping developers to reproduce and debug issues raised
    • Interacting with the team
    • Writing test reports for internal and external use

    Ideal experience:

    • At least 3 years’ experience working as a QA Engineer
    • An understanding of the requirements and challenges of testing
    • Background in native app testing
    • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments
    • API testing
    • Knowledge of proxy tools
    • Writing test plans, tests cases
    • Good understanding of various test tools and how best to utilise them
    • Automation testing is a plus

  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT

    We are looking for someone to join our growing business as a Project Management Assistant to support the Project team on on-going and future projects.

    You will be a self-starter who will take ownership of the admin functions of the projects (reports, data analysis, documentation). You will work closely with our mobile development, QA, design and management teams. You will contribute to the delivery and success of the company’s projects portfolio.

    The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months’ experience working on digital projects either, web or mobile.

    Responsibilities:

    • Attending and facilitating project meetings
    • Adding tickets to Jira
    • Monitoring the sprint and project dashboards
    • Preparing weekly and/or monthly reports
    • Data analysis
    • Keeping timesheets up-to-date
    • Updating burndown charts
    • Maintaining document templates
    • Drafting presentations
    • Monitoring app reviews

    Ideal experience:

    • Between 3– 6 months experience working on digital projects – mobile and/or web
    • Experienced in the use of Excel
    • Production of reports
    • Knowledge of Agile principles is advantageous
    • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to encourage teams
    • Strong planning skills
