A new channel needs fresh thinking. We play hopscotch on the boundaries between design, technology and strategy. We are developers with a business head, HCI experts who can manage projects, graphic designers fluent in Java.
Our team includes:
Tom Hume, MD - "I started my career at WPP-owned Good Technology, one of the first digital agencies in the UK,
spending 5 years there and eventually taking on the role of Technical Director.
In 1999 I made the leap into mobile, spinning off the first mobile specialist division of a UK agency,
and in 2000 I founded Future Platforms. A techie at heart, I'm rabidly enthusiastic about user experience
and hold a D&AD Silver Nomination for work I've done in interactive media."
Sergio Falletti, Commercial Director - "Italian by birth, I started as a digital producer in the pre-web years in the UK
and the US. As Client Services Director at The Hub I was responsible for the Vodafone digital account including
the launch of Vodafone live! I see mobile as the next significant revolution and opportunity in the
digital space."
Devi Lozdan, Project Manager - "I was the first girl on the team which makes me special.
My background is in Artificial Intelligence and HCI but I'm especially interested in user centred design
and agile development. I'm currently a project manager and moonlight as an interaction designer.
I'm also part of the multinational element of the company being fluent in French and dabbling in Spanish."
Thom Hopper, Software Engineer - "After studying Computer
Science and Artificial Intelligence at Sussex University, I joined FP in 2004. I spend most of my time
working with J2ME, and developing our Cactus toolkit. In my spare time I write games for the DS and
GP2X, draw, and play guitar."
Jack Moxley, Software Engineer - "
My background is in Architecture, Artificial Intelligence and Multimedia Networking, and I tend to specialise
in back-end and server side code. Before being nabbed by FP,
I worked at a large mobile porting house, where I was most recently International Team Lead."
Neil Skinner, Software Engineer - "
I started my career working for a large mobile QA company after building a J2ME game for my final year dissertation.
I joined FP in 2005 where I specialise in creating rich mobile sites and porting applications across a vast range of handsets."
Joh Hunt, Process Administrator - "
Joh is an eternal student, but also likes hanging around the office and organising things. She is fascinated
by programmer communication, agile software development techniques and conversational storytelling. Joh runs
the Brighton Coding Dojo sponsored by Future Platforms."
Dave Shorter, QA - "
I fell into QA after leaving University with an HND in interactive software development, and found that breaking software came naturally to me. Working for 18 months in the video games industry before joining Future Platforms in October 2007, and adding the mobile string to my bow. "
We work from an inspirational studio in the heart of Brighton. It keeps us rooted in the city's vibrant digital community and close to coffee and good food: our fuel.
