What is it all about? It's about a small chunk of consumer electronics that has become pervasive, powerful and very personal:
- There are 2X as many mobile phones than there are internet users of any kind
- There are 3X as many mobile phones than there are personal computers
- There are more mobile phones than credit cards, more mobile phones than TV sets
It is the only digital gadget carried by every economically viable person on the planet; it takes an average of 26 hours for a user to report a lost wallet. But the average time taken to report a lost mobile phone is just 68 minutes!

Mobile isn't about virtual reality, it's about an enhanced here and now - tying information and computing power into our real world rather than shackling us to desktop PCs. It's about feeling close to my friends whilst I explore the world or looking up the name of "that actress" in mid-conversation.
This technology is at its best when it's almost invisible: through delightful mobile experiences.
